How to Uninstall

Remote Desktop Spy can be uninstalled using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. Alternatively, you may use the uninstaller located in the programs installation folder (uninst000.exe).

If the Remote Desktop Spy Agent service is running in the background you will not be able to uninstall Remote Desktop Spy. This behavior is by design so that another user cannot uninstall the software and bypass the security measures.

To stop the Remote Desktop Spy Agent service:

1. Open the Remote Desktop Spy Agent program (Start --> Programs --> Remote Desktop Spy 4 --> Remote Desktop Spy Agent). Alternatively, you can open the svcagnt.exe program directly from the programs installation folder.
   
2. Type in your security password and press OK.
3. Click Stop.
4. Close the Agent program.

You will now be able to continue with the uninstallation.
